Inclusion & environment
Staff act quickly to close gaps in children's communication and language. They use selected strategies in small- group times to meet the needs of the children. In addition to the support in the setting, staff work closely with other agencies to help children make strong progress towards their developmental milestones.
A member of staff helps children develop their understanding of how to manage their own risks in the climbing frame area. Children effectively learn to manage their own safety and develop physical skills. Children access chalk, water, paintbrushes and sponges in the garden, enjoying making and noticing patterns on the wall, which strengthens their hand muscles for early writing.
Christchurch pre-school is a fantastic, friendly pre-school with wonderful staff. My 3 girls have all been there and have absolutely loved it. The garden is lovely and the play opportunities and resources are great. I have seen it go from strength to strength over the last few years and it's a fantastic place to be.
Read on GoogleThis is such a lovely friendly preschool. Caring staff and a great start to my child’s early years education. It has one large room with a mixture of ages which is great for the children as they learn from one another. It has a large outdoor area which all children can access throughout the day. The children also benefit from small group welcome times, sound of the week literacy input and story times.
