My little boy started at Hanham Hall Kiddi Caru in the baby room and worked his way up to the toddler room, I was so nervous as his last nursery’s baby room closed unexpectedly. He has spent over a year at Hanham Hall and I can say confidently that he has thrived through the experience of being loved, cared for and taught within a beautiful environment. Each staff member has been incredibly supportive and kind to my little boy and our family. Any nervous mums this nursery is for you. Your baby will grow loving attachments and experience quality learning experiences. The assistant manager and manager Tara and Hannah are so approachable and will go above and beyond to support you. Each member of staff will always have a kind word to say and put real effort into creating a bind with the little ones.
Read on GoogleThe staff at Hanham Hall Kiddi Caru are the best thing about the nursery. They are kind, helpful, engaged and very caring. You really feel confident knowing your child will be looked after whilst they are at nursery. PROS: - Staff (as above) - The building is lovely with large windows, - lots of light and plenty of parking - The environment has been improved since last year, I really appreciate that there are no plastic toys that have very limited use - Lots of outdoor time - Large outdoor areas with trees and activities - Toddler room has lots of planned activities and reading - Fun themed nursery based picnics and activities for parents and carers - The Famly app CONS: There are a few simple ways in which I think the nursery could be improved that wouldn't take much time or effort to achieve: - When you join the nursery with your first baby, nothing is made very clear about policy and procedure. We had to sign some paperwork but we were given no physical guidance to take home so we felt really clueless about how everything worked. Some kind of document or paper for new parents would really help with this - Babies often have dirty faces when I pick my children up - they will have snot and old food all over their faces. I suggest keeping a big plastic tote of cloths/flannels that they can wet down to wipe children's faces quickly and then throw in the wash at the end of the day. - When dropping off the kids, some staff can sometimes not be forthcoming about rising to take babies and toddlers off your hands. Sometimes we’re left standing there feeling a little awkward. - The baby room does not seem to have many activities or engagement for more active babies. When I came to collect my youngest they would often just be sat around doing nothing. Some nurseries have indoor wooden slides, wall-mounted activities and climbing apparatus in their baby and toddler rooms and I think this would really improve things. - The gardens are large but looking a little tired, they could do with a revamp. If they need funding for this we could do some fund-raising events? I’m sure the parents would be keen to help improve the setting. - I’ve not seen them doing any drawing, colouring or painting yet in the two youngest rooms? It would be great if we could have this daily to encourage creativity.
Read on GoogleOur little girl started in January 2021. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Little one still not keen about going in but has a great time when there and always comes out happy. Very pleased we chose this Mama Bears 🐻
Read on GoogleMy daughter attends this nursery and has done since 9 months old. She always has so much fun and is so excited every morning to go. The staff are friendly and helpful and you can tell they build a lovely bond with the children. She learns so much there each day, often coming home with a new song to sing or some facts I didnt know she knew. Very happy with her experience here and would highly recommend. My youngest starts here in the new year as well. Thanks
Read on GoogleBrilliant setting and all the practitioners are extremely friendly and attentive. My son started when he was 8 months old and quickly settled in with all the staff and children. He is always excited to attend and we get to see his day through the ParentZone app. Food, activities, outdoor area and the classrooms are all really good quality. The nursery is also accepting of cloth nappies, which was a bonus for us.
