Parents comment that staff keep them well informed about what children are doing and learning so they can help with learning at home.
Inclusion & environment
Staff quickly recognise when children might need additional support. They talk with parents and put in place interventions to make sure that all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress.
Younger children have a covered balcony where they can ride tricycles, rock on the see-saw and roll coloured balls down the guttering. Older children have a large play space, which has a dedicated physical play area where they can swing, climb, and slide. Staff explain the importance of wearing a helmet when riding bicycles.
Our daughter has thrived since joining Churchdown Nursery. We like the fact that they are an independent family run business. This creates a home from home environment which we didn't get from the otger nurseries which are part of a large group. The staff are all friendly and have gone above and beyond. The nursery is spacious, clean and has a fun and friendly environment. We have found the management team to be supportive. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe environment for their little ones.
Read on GoogleI am so pleased we chose Churchdown day nursery; my little boy always goes in and comes out happy. They have the perfect mixture of being a homely and loving atmosphere but are also proffessional and have a clean safe environment. Some of the larger chains have a very clinical and sterile feel, Churchdown has managed the balance perfectly. I know if he's teething and grumpy he'll get extra cuddles and the care he needs. They're fed a good balanced diet and do great, varied activities with plenty of outside time too. Can't rate them enough!
Read on GoogleThe nursery is in a lovely setting but do not expect the management to address any of your concerns. They will easily manipulate it and turn them back on you. Expect more when paying for a service!
Read on GoogleThe best nursery in Gloucestershire in my opinion. So clean and such friendly, professional staff. My little girl loves it there.
