City Way Nursery, situated in Rochester, Kent, has provided childcare services since 1963. Now under the management of Sara and Scott Daly, this family-operated nursery holds an Ofsted Outstanding rating.

The nursery is dedicated to fostering a secure and inviting environment, offering accessible and affordable childcare for children ranging from 6 months to 11 years old. In addition to full day care, City Way Nursery also provides a sessional pre-school programme and a holiday club.

The curriculum is designed to cater to each child's individual learning journey and is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. The nursery emphasises learning through numbers, exploration of the surrounding world through experiments and cultural celebrations, active physical play, and creative hands-on activities.

Pricing & funding

Fees are calculated using hourly rates based on age bands for unfunded hours, alongside session-based charges for meals and consumables on funded days. Both 15-hour and 30-hour funding can be used as term-time or stretched options, though the baby room operates on a year-round basis only.
