Yesterday, my heart was full as we said goodbye to the incredible people at Hedgehogs Rochester after an unforgettable four years. From the moment my eldest son joined at 16 months and my youngest at just over 10 months, Hedgehogs became more than just a daycare—it was a sanctuary, a second home where my children felt safe, loved, and supported. Alice and Carla run the nursery with remarkable professionalism. Their unwavering support and dedication have made all the difference, especially when my eldest was having a hard time at drop off, and I’m especially grateful for how they always went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, whether it was an extra day here and there or just offering a listening ear. But now, a special thank goes to Carrie-Ann, Molly, Jake and Ben for looking after my babies in such a lovely and nurturing environment. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Keep doing the amazing work you do!
Read on GoogleI can’t imagine sending my children anywhere better than Hedgehogs. I’ve seen their confidence grow in leaps and bounds. Their language skills are advanced as a result of the interaction and learning Hedgehogs provides. The staff are incredibly caring and super helpful. I feel my children are very well cared. They have a varied day, with an opportunity to engage in a range of activities. Even my 1year old has helped make bread for lunch! Thank you to everyone at Hedgehogs for all that you do.
Read on GoogleAbigail absolutely loves her time at the nursery and her dad and I love getting the daily pictures of what she has been up to that day too! The staff are so lovely, kind and caring and are always there to talk to when needed. They listen carefully and adapt really well to each individual baby's needs. Couldn't wish for a better place for our baby girl :)
Read on GoogleOur little boy has been going to Hedgehogs since he 9 months old. The staff really take the time to get your child as well as the parents. Our little boy has the best time when he's at nursery and has really progressed with his development and learning ! Would definitely recommend!!
Read on GoogleI was so worried when he had to start nursery because he had never been away from me but my worries were unnecessary. At the nursery, he was fully engaged and i was given daily updates of how he was adjusting and progressing, i was also asked about his activities at home so they knew what he liked and didn't like. If there was any area of improvement, the nursery collaborated with me to sort it out from weening him off the bottle, getting him to eat solid food, encouraging teething brushing etc. There is a learning target that we work on per time and its been wonderful.
