How they support every child

SEND provision

Practitioners are exceptional in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They work closely with parents and act swiftly to identify needs. Professionals are drawn on for support. Practitioners seize opportunities to gain funding. Individual plans ensure that activities are purposeful. This results in children with SEND reaching the best possible outcomes. Parents feel extremely fortunate for the support provided to children with SEND. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Children have access to an outdoor forest environment. Outside, they climb on crates. Stairs to the cabin were purposefully designed to encourage physical skills.

The pre-school is very professional with friendly staff. I highly recommend this pre-school. My son/daughter loves attending the pre-school. The development and self confidence they developed in a short period of time is amazing.

My daughter started Crafty Wizards in April, so has been attending for just over a month. I am overjoyed with how well she has settled in, and has really bonded with her key person. The staff are AMAZING, so kind and lovely, always smiling & you can tell they love their jobs. I visited many nurseries in the area before Crafty Wizards, and none of them compared - it’s just so amazing that it’s as magical as promised. I will recommend to everyone, and can’t wait to see my daughter thrive even more as time goes on! Thank you Crafty Wizards for being so brilliant!

My daughter loves going to her pre-school. Welcoming, caring and professional staff who you can tell love what they do. They are doing a fantastic job and Im so pleased that they are opening new branches that will bring the magic alive for more families. Flexibility with sessions and availability to add extra sessions is great. Very supportive and I know if I ever needed advice or to voice a concern I could go to them and they would help. They make the learning magical for my daughter and Ive seen her come along so well with her speech and language, independence and relationships with her peers. My daughter loves outdoors and the garden is so much fun, they have well planned activities and quality resources throughout. I would 1000% recommend to any parent/caregiver your child will love their time as a crafty wizard! Xx

My grandson has only been attending since Sept 2022, however, the progress he has made is truly amazing. The staff really care and go above and beyond to help him progress. They ensure that he is fully included in all activities and he has the best time at Forest School. They are so supportive to the family as a whole. I cannot recommend the setting highly enough, it really seems that the for the staff that it is more than a job (and they work so hard!). Thank you so much
