About this day nursery

Creative Kids Nursery, a family-run establishment founded in 1996, aims to provide exceptional childcare within a stimulating, safe, and secure environment. They are deeply involved in their local communities and prioritise a strong partnership between home and nursery to ensure a successful experience for each child.

The nursery believes in fostering development through play, focusing on the "whole child" — their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth. They cater to children from three months onwards, with dedicated spaces and activities designed for babies, toddlers, two-to-three-year-olds, and pre-schoolers.

As children progress through the age groups, the curriculum introduces more structure, encourages independence, and prepares them for school by developing essential skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social interaction. Creative Kids adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, tailoring activities to each child's unique qualities to help them reach their full potential.

Our ethos

Creative Kids Nursery is committed to fostering the development of the 'whole child' — their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth — through play and a strong home-nursery partnership. They adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, tailoring activities to help each child reach their full potential and encouraging independence to prepare them for school.

My daughter has been going here since last year September. I was so nervous at the time as she was only around 8 months then. However she absolutely loves it here. The staff are amazing and my little girl gets so excited when she sees them! I feel so reassured about sending her here. She’s always full and has progressed so much since attending. So glad we chose this nursery! They keep you updated on their progress and I love seeing it all!

My son has been with the nursery for a couple of years and has loved it ! As parents we have always been impressed with their care, communication and attention to detail. They have supported my son with SALT and provided really personalised care. I cannot fault the nursery or their staff. Our son loved working with Masie in his old class and now with Olivia, Charlie and Daniela who are all outstanding. My son is very sad to say bye to them all! We would highly recommend this nursery

A very well run nursery at all levels from the owners to the manager and from room leaders to staff. Our son attended the nursery for two years and graduated this week; he was looked after so well. Rooms are lovely and bright with good facilities, the garden is huge, meals are carefully considered and their online system kept us informed of our son’s progress. Even during the Covid-19 pandemic procedures were carefully considered and implemented to keep everyone safe. The staff really care at this nursery and this was demonstrated to us each and every day. We would recommend this nursery to others.

We attended a viewing at the nursery during the pandemic and left quite disappointed with the Indian manager's biasness. Due to the pandemic, my child had never had any sort of interaction with the outside world and this was vividly clear when we attended, she was crying as it was a whole new environment for her. Suprisingly the manager said "I don't think we can have her, you should seek for a stay at home nanny as she seems to have attachment issues"!!!I left quite devastated to even think that's the type of person someone would trust to leave their babies with!! I decided to look for another nearby nursery, which was so lovely and understanding on how to deal with kids' separation anxiety. The 3 stars are for the beautiful buildings they have got!
