Both of our children have had the happiest time at Crown. It has a very special, nurturing environment with an almost family feel to it. The staff turnover is extremely low, so much so that it was the same lovely, smiley faces welcoming our daughter in 2022 as welcomed our son in 2018. The wonderful staff are what makes it but the great range of toys and equipment and the fabulous garden are the icing on top.

We chose Crown as it felt like such a lovely family run nursery when we looked around, and was small enough that everyone seemed to know everyone. We liked the fact that it wasn’t split into lots of different rooms, and that the little kids got to see (and learn off) the big kids, and the big kids got to help and support the little ones. We also particularly appreciated the fact that you could pay and confirm your place up front rather than a lot of other Wimbledon nurseries where you were left hanging till about six weeks before you needed the nursery place! The staff have been so incredibly caring and our daughter always went in and came out with a smile. The nursery itself is in a great location being set back off the road, and the garden is really great - the kids spend so long outside all year round which we loved. Our daughter bonded well with pretty much all the staff, and the staff were responsive when I asked for meetings with them to review progress. I’d have preferred more communication, just to see more progress, but as I said once I asked staff I was able to go in and see for myself what was being done and all concerns alleviated. I would also say that the nursery were great in Covid, and were very flexible about children returning when nurseries were allowed to be open again. We have adored seeing our daughter develop there - she treated the staff like her extended family and misses them now she’s at school!

My son has just left crown as we have moved out the area. He attended from the age of 1 to 3.5 and it his experience has been simply fantastic throughout. He quickly formed good relationships with the staff and was forever talking about them when he got home. The development in his language and confidence was outstanding, and I feel a lot of this was as a direct result of interaction with the staff at Crown. He would frequently reference the values that were being taught at the nursery at home! Telling us that we "have to wait for our friends before we eat" and how important it is to be kind. We always found all of the staff to be amiable and approachable. We were extremely sad to have to leave and will always look back fondly at our son's time at Crown knowing that it has been a huge part of his early childhood. We cannot thank you enough. Both of my children have attended Crown Kindergartens. I have always felt confident that they were well cared for. I was often surprised by the things my daughter learned there - reading and counting etc - things we hadn't started at home yet. And they recognized my son's obsession with cars and trains and made sure he always had some to play with - even letting him choose which ones to get when they bought new ones. It's fantastic value for the service they provide, with good quality food, nappies and visits from Zoolab and Teddy Tennis to name a few. I wholeheartedly recommend Crown!

Our daughter Ella was at Crown for over 3 years. She absolutely loved every day. The staff are the right balance of caring and fun whilst ensuring to instil discipline and build confidence. They have great fun activities each week for the kids such as Zoo Lab, Lucy Sparkles, Teddy Tennis. Thank you so much to all at Crown for all that you do!
