The preschool welcomes children from 18 months onwards, offering term-time-only care between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday. Furthermore, Cygnets Pre-School provides a comprehensive transition programme to support families as their children move on to primary school, regardless of their chosen institution. The preschool also prioritises safeguarding and e-safety, working closely with parents and the community to ensure a secure and enriching experience for every child, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and promoting fundamental British values.

Fees are invoiced monthly in advance via the nursery's online system. The nursery accepts government funding and charges an hourly rate for additional hours, alongside an optional daily consumable charge which parents can opt out of by providing their own supplies.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive exceptional care. The highly driven special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) works closely with other professionals, outside agencies and parents to help ensure children and families receive personalised support.
Children in the garden ask for a ramp for their cars. Staff help children to find equipment they can use and support them with a trial-and-error approach. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
