Dragonflies Nursery, situated in the picturesque village of Badminton, offers a stimulating and nurturing environment for children from toddler to pre-school age. Open 50 weeks a year, the nursery operates from 8 am to 6 pm, providing a consistent and reliable childcare solution.
With dedicated playrooms for different age groups, children up to two and a half years and those aged two and a half to five years benefit from tailored activities promoting exploration and discovery. The curriculum focuses on developing personal, social, emotional, communication, language, and physical skills, expanding into literacy, maths, understanding the world, and creative imagination for older children.
A key person system ensures each child feels secure and happy, fostering a strong link between home and nursery. Dragonflies places a significant emphasis on outdoor learning, utilising a dedicated garden area for wildlife exploration, cooking in a mud kitchen, and imaginative play.
Further enriching the outdoor experience are trips to a neighbouring farm, village walks, and a Forest School programme for children aged three and over. Physical activity sessions are also incorporated into the weekly routine.
The nursery values strong parent relationships, encouraging active participation and open communication.

Dragonflies Nursery focuses on a child-led approach with significant emphasis on outdoor learning, including a Forest School programme, wildlife exploration, and farm visits. They aim to foster children's personal, social, emotional, communication, language, and physical skills through tailored activities and a key person system to ensure children feel secure and happy. The nursery also values strong parent partnerships.

This nursery offers all year round care for 51 weeks a year or term-time only contracts. Fees are billed based on a variety of full day, school day, and half day sessions, with a minimum attendance requirement of two sessions over two days per week. Standard fees include all meals, snacks, and a cooked lunch.
