We moved our son to Little Barn Nursery in January when they first opened, after he’d been at his previous setting for over a year, so we were naturally quite nervous about the change. Kelly and the team have been incredible from day one, going above and beyond to make the transition smooth for both our son and us as parents. The nursery feels so homely and calming, and being able to go in morning and evening and see the children playing is something we really value. Most importantly, our son seems so much more comfortable and settled here. We’re so pleased we made the move and can’t thank the team enough.

I honestly cannot put into words how incredible the team at Little Barn are. Our two girls started in January, and they have always been so happy at both drop-off and pick-up. Seeing them settled, smiling and excited tells us everything we need to know. We feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful nursery. Thank you ☺️

From the moment we visited this nursery ahead of its opening in January 2026, we knew we had found somewhere truly special for our daughter. As first-time parents sending our 1-year-old to nursery for the very first time, we were naturally nervous about leaving her. However, the team made the entire transition so smooth, reassuring, and positive for both us and our daughter. In just a short space of time, we have seen such an incredible transformation in her. Her confidence has grown beyond what we could have imagined, and it’s been so heartwarming to watch her form such strong, genuine bonds with the staff & other children. It’s clear that every member of the team truly cares about each child as an individual. The attention, patience, and warmth they show is outstanding, and it gives us complete peace of mind knowing she is in such nurturing hands. The setting itself is absolutely beautiful. Being in a countryside location makes it feel calm, safe, and full of opportunities for exploration. One of the standout features is the access to animals, which our daughter absolutely loves—it’s such a unique and enriching experience for children at such a young age. We also really value the emphasis on outdoor play. Come rain or shine, the children are encouraged to explore, play, and learn outside, which has done wonders for our daughter’s development and happiness. It’s clear that the nursery prioritises a healthy, active lifestyle. The food provided is another huge positive. The meals and snacks are always nutritious, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared, which is so important to us as parents. It’s reassuring to know she is eating well and being introduced to a variety of healthy foods. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience. This nursery has exceeded all expectations, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found such a caring, enriching environment for our daughter’s early years. We would wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and inspiring place for their child.

Our daughter has been attending Little Barn since it opened in Jan 2026, having previously struggled to settle in a larger setting. From day one we knew we had done the right thing. The staff are so genuine and passionate about early years education, and with better staff to child ratios than average, they have the time to really interact and get to know each child. Seeing our child thrive in a home from home type environment has been lovely. From baking to going for walks in the surrounding fields, interactive story times and music classes, to growing sunflowers and seeing caterpillars develop, this nursery really nurtures each child to give them the best possible start. Handovers are thorough and we get daily updates and photos too. Kelly and her team should be really proud of what they have created.
