How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff ensure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive the support they need. Once children have settled, staff complete baseline assessments, identify any gaps in learning, and liaise with parents and other agencies. They plan strategies and review targets regularly to support focused transitions for children's next steps in education.

Outdoor space

All children enjoy fresh air outdoors every day. Staff plan daily exercise sessions where children practise large-muscle skills by climbing apparatus and sliding down. Children enjoy kicking footballs and playing with their friends, promoting their physical and mental well-being. Toddlers also play hide and seek in the garden, and pre-school children act out stories in the garden.

EAL / language support

Staff support children who speak English as an additional language. They use pictures to help children's understanding and communication. Leaders organise translators to help fully engage parents in their children's learning.

Brilliant nursery my child is very happy there and has really excelled in confidence my daughter learnt quite a lot of numbers and other stuff my daughter enjoyed all her time at the day nursery they looked after her very well at this nursery Great staff. Thank you so much to the manager very polite . Highly recommended.thank u to all edgbaston day care nursery staff.x
