Little Explorers Pre-School, located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, opened in 2007 and subsequently moved to a new premises in Frankwell in September 2020. The nursery provides childcare for children from babies up to Year 6, with a strong emphasis on ensuring the happiness, safety, and well-being of each child.
They strive to create a friendly, secure, and professional environment that is welcoming to all. The setting is committed to providing a stimulating experience through learning through play and offers an extensive range of activities.
Children benefit from regular outings to local places of interest and have access to excellent facilities, including a secure outdoor play area, quiet areas, and creative and construction zones. Pricing & funding
This nursery offers full day, half day, and short day sessions, with age-banded rates for children under two and those aged two to four. Out-of-school care, including before-school, after-school, and holiday clubs, is also available. Snacks are included in the fees, while cooked meals can be added for an extra charge.

How they support every child
SEND provision
Leaders and managers are highly attuned to the needs of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Their dedication to meet each child's individual needs is inspirational. Strategies to support children's care and learning are implemented at the earliest stages. A sensory room is a wonderful addition to the setting and provides a safe and calming place for children. As a result, children with SEND make excellent progress from their starting points in this highly inclusive environment.
Outdoor space
Staff expertly plan activities to deepen children's knowledge. They consider the learning opportunities they provide in the indoor and outdoor environment. For example, children securely embed their mathematical knowledge of shapes through a shape hunt in the local community.
