Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"Parents say their children enjoy attending the setting and they have seen them make good progress in their development."
"They find the staff caring and describe them as 'fantastic'."
Inclusion & environment
Staff will work with parents to offer additional support where required and put support plans in place.
Babies are developing their physical skills as they show increased confidence while using the climbing equipment. Recent sessions on outdoor play have enabled staff to consider how they can develop the outdoor area in the future, to offer more challenge for older children.
My son has finished at the setting this month after 3 very happy years here. The staff give their everything every day and treat the children with love and care. They have supported my son through learning to walk, potty training, to learning to write and preparation for school. There is a range of different activities for them to enjoy every day and there is a lovely big garden with free flow access from the rooms for older children. The food menus are nutritious and varied. My son has benefitted greatly from attending the nursery and I would recommend this nursery to prospective parents.
Read on GoogleWe‘ve been really happy with the baby room that our daughter has been in for the last 7 months. The staff are really caring and our daughter formed a lovely bond with her key worker. They put on lots of fun activities for the babies and update us throughout the week with photos. We like the spacious rooms and the large garden which will be a real benefit as she transitions from crawling to walking/running around.
Read on GoogleMy son joined Kings Hall in September and I have been blown away with how amazing the nursery is! The settling in process is extremely helpful and it allowed me the chance to fully settle my son before his first official day. They use an app called Famly which helps me to see what my son has been up to in real time with the logging of information such as meals, sleep and daily activities. It’s a simple thing but really puts my mind at ease. I can also send a message to the staff for an update throughout the day and I really appreciate the team’s prompt replies. Kings Hall also makes use of their local park and recently held a teddy bears picnic for the children and parents to attend. It was lovely to meet some of the parents whose children my son will be interacting with on a daily basis. Lastly, the staff are amazing! No request or question is too small and they always go above and beyond to make sure my son is cared for and loved. Thank you so much Kings Hall for the best start for my little one!
Read on GoogleMy 4 year old has really enjoyed her time here at Fennies, the new management team have really brought a new energy to the nursery and I can’t fault their hard work, communication care. Also, I must say the baby room is excellent - my 1 year old is so well looked after - his key worker is incredible.
Read on GoogleWhereas we were impressed with the majority of the young staff who work so hard to make this setting work for the children, after 2+ years with the setting we've been incredibly disappointed by the Fennies organisation itself. Head office doesn't adequately support staff on site or address parent concerns, which has clear knock on impacts on children - evidenced by recent Ofsted warnings on staffing numbers.
