What parents say

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection

New parents say that staff go above and beyond and that the settling-in session really helps them get to know their child's key person.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children demonstrate a positive attitude to their learning, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Children with SEND are supported very well. Leaders and staff work hard to ensure that children and their families have access to relevant support agencies, communicating frequently with parents and working to support children, which helps staff to precisely plan children's next steps.

Outdoor space

Children have ample opportunities to access the outdoors. They experience a range of activities that support their physical development, such as running, jumping, and riding small bicycles in the large outside spaces. Younger children use paintbrushes to make marks, supporting their developing large- and small-muscle skills.

Flying Start Moorlands is the most magical nursery and we have been so happy here for the last 2.5 years. Our little boy can’t wait to go and see his friends and his key workers, who are kind, fun and inspiring. Ben and Lynne are super managers, the atmosphere is warm, friendly and helpful. This really is the best of the best and we are very sad to be saying goodbye as my little one heads to school.
