Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents speak positively about the nursery and staff. They comment that staff provide a loving and safe environment and that their children have really flourished at the nursery.
Inclusion & environment
The report mentions that staff introduce strategies to help children who struggle to regulate their behaviour and help older children to understand how their actions might impact on others, which supports them to develop good social skills.
Children have daily opportunities to play outside in the fresh air. Older children know to wait for headcounts to be completed before moving from the garden, and they join in with the counting.
Outstanding nursery! Choosing Forbury Gardens for our children has been one of the best decisions we've made as parents. The entire team shows a remarkable level of dedication, nurturing each child with the same love and care as if they were their own. It is a warm, loving and supportive environment that has been instrumental in fostering our children's confidence and sense of self. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any family.
Read on GoogleI enrolled my son in the Cygnets room. It’s a very good nursery, and I highly recommend it. The staff are very kind and caring, and the environment is safe and welcoming. Today is my son’s last day at the nursery. I truly wish we could have continued, but we are returning to our home country, so unfortunately, we have to leave. My son really enjoyed his time there, and I know I will miss them so much. It was a wonderful experience from beginning to end — thank you to all the lovely staff!
Read on GoogleUndoubtedly, the finest nursery in the RG1. We express our profound gratitude to Forbury Gardens for caring for my daughter since she was 1.8 years old and for assisting her in becoming the remarkable individual she is today.
Read on GoogleMy daughter loves going to this nursery - she's been at Forbury Gardens for over a year now and always goes in with a smile. The staff are lovely, make lots of effort with all the kids and keep their days filled with creativity and joy.
Read on GoogleAs the Nursery manager, on a return to work day from maternity, I feel the staff team took excellent care of my 6 month old baby on her first day visiting the setting. The staff team went above and beyond to make sure she had a good day. They also made me feel more relaxed and at ease leaving her for the first time. I am incredibly proud of the staff team the Forbury Gardens Day Nursery has.
