Opening hours
Monday to Friday all year round from 8am to 6pm
Forest Learners Nursery, established in 2021, provides a welcoming environment where babies and toddlers aged 0-1 years thrive. Operating Monday to Friday, all year round from 8am to 6pm, the nursery focuses on providing positive learning experiences that build on each child's existing knowledge and abilities.
The management team has meticulously planned a curriculum, and staff use their extensive knowledge of each child, gathered through home visits and settling-in sessions, to identify their next steps in learning. This approach results in rapid progress and excellent preparation for future learning.
The nursery places a strong emphasis on children's emotional well-being, with staff highly skilled at recognising and responding to babies' cues to ensure they feel safe and secure. Outdoor learning is a key focus at Forest Learners Nursery, with children enjoying unrestricted access to the outdoor area, where they can self-select resources and engage in uninterrupted play.
Toddlers are also able to freely access mark-making materials both inside and outside. The nursery is dedicated to providing tailored support for every child and family, putting extra measures in place for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
For children who speak English as an additional language, staff work closely with parents to learn key words and phrases in their home language, helping children settle quickly and become confident communicators. Parents appreciate the staff's focus on spending more time with the children.

Absolutely amazing nursery, have gone above and beyond for my son who has Global Developmental Delay. He's thriving each week with their help and support. The staff are so lovely and kind and always happy to help, I suffered a miscarriage in october and a staff member introduced me to their family support officer if I should ever need someone to speak to or just have a cup of tea with. I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby but it's not an easy pregnancy at all. After taking a slow walk to the nursery today for my son, I had a very bad dizzy, faint and sick spell again. The manager I believe was so kind and gave me a chair and some water, she then offered to walk me home as I'm only 5 mins away if that from the nursery. I'm so grateful and emotional that there are kind people out there who don't judge you. I'm even more proud to call this place my sons nursery and my future son will also be going here. Definitely deserve more than 5 stars and all staff should give themselves a massive pat on the back! :) x
Read on Googlei am not sure what the 1 Star review is about but the lady marking reviewed another nursery withing the same group also with one star. i sense someone is upset but please don't let it fool you. this nursery is brilliant. the staff is top and they were the most helpful as my son struggled at first - missing mommy, crying and refusing to eat. i can't thank the staff enough for what they are doing to keep little ones safe and happy. offsted report is absolutely proving it.
