Inspector highlights
Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents are overwhelmingly complimentary about the support network that is provided to their children and families.
Parents feel integral to their child's early education, especially through shared daily communication and regular, in-depth updates of their progress.
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are supported tremendously well. Those with responsibility for children with SEND provide home visits and work closely with parents to ensure children's overall needs are continuously met. Staff work closely with parents and outside professionals, such as speech and language therapists, to help bridge gaps in children's learning. As a result, all children, including those with SEND, make significant ongoing progress in all areas of their learning and development.
Weekly visits to forest school bolsters the superb outdoor learning facilities that children have continuous access to. Staff scrupulously plan activities and organise the learning environment, indoors and outdoors, to captivate children's interests, build on their learning and consolidate their understanding. Pretending to be superheroes, children excitedly get into character and begin investigating the outdoor environments.
Absolutely amazing nursery, have gone above and beyond for my son who has Global Developmental Delay. He's thriving each week with their help and support. The staff are so lovely and kind and always happy to help, I suffered a miscarriage in october and a staff member introduced me to their family support officer if I should ever need someone to speak to or just have a cup of tea with. I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby but it's not an easy pregnancy at all. After taking a slow walk to the nursery today for my son, I had a very bad dizzy, faint and sick spell again. The manager I believe was so kind and gave me a chair and some water, she then offered to walk me home as I'm only 5 mins away if that from the nursery. I'm so grateful and emotional that there are kind people out there who don't judge you. I'm even more proud to call this place my sons nursery and my future son will also be going here. Definitely deserve more than 5 stars and all staff should give themselves a massive pat on the back! :) x
Read on Googlei am not sure what the 1 Star review is about but the lady marking reviewed another nursery withing the same group also with one star. i sense someone is upset but please don't let it fool you. this nursery is brilliant. the staff is top and they were the most helpful as my son struggled at first - missing mommy, crying and refusing to eat. i can't thank the staff enough for what they are doing to keep little ones safe and happy. offsted report is absolutely proving it.
