Our ethos
Our unique environment combines our Montessori curriculum with the national foundation for early years (EYFS) to create a happy, safe and inspirational environment where children flourish and learn. The Montessori approach champions the belief that children have the largest capacity to learn from birth to age six. It respects each child’s way of learning through specially designed resources and activities which are planned reactively to reflect the children’s latest interests and observations. Inclusion & environment
Children benefit from regular outdoor play in the garden and visits into the local area. For example, they play at the park and walk to shops and the allotment, which enables children to exercise and learn about the world around them.
Our daughter has been attending here for 3 months and we've had a really positive experience so far. She loves going and all the staff are great with her.
Read on GoogleOur toddler loves it here; the staff are fabulous and they provide a great Montessori education, whilst undertaking the EYFS. We've found them supportive, helpful and very friendly! The children do a great range of activities and are nurtured in a really safe environment.
Read on GoogleI sent all my kids to this nursery, one of them since he was 3 months old, and I believe the nursery staff is doing an amazing job! The most important aspects of this childcare setting for me are: - my kids love it and feel loved; they rarely make a fuss about being left there in the morning - they feel empowered and supported, they learned from an early age how to get dressed and undressed, put their shoes on, clean up after meals etc. That's something that I always find difficult to enforce at home, due to constant lack of time! - the kids don't even notice how much they learn through their interests and play: maths, language, writing, reading, cooking! My kids surprise me every day with some new knowledge! - the communication with the nursery is amazing: the nursery involves parents in kids' activities, shares their achievements, sends pictures, invites them to events, or just to read a book, or share a story with kids... - they go outside every day, and have forest school in every weather! The staff always makes sure kids are suitably dressed for the weather... even if parents sometimes forget a to bring boots or waterproofs... :) - the nursery organises trips to shops, museums, parks, allotments, and even day-trips by bus for preschoolers! - my kids eat well there! I don't know what they do to them, but I am absolutely certain, at the end of the day, that they had healthy meals that they ate without a fuss :D There are other great things I could say about this nursery (baby-yoga, child-safety, assistance in transition to school, facilitating breastfeeding etc). My first child went to several different settings before we found this place. Now, I would never send a child anywhere else!
