The setting prides itself on a warm and caring environment where children feel safe and secure, developing independence and confidence through engaging activities. Staff, including 18 members, most with relevant Level 3 qualifications and a manager with a Level 5 qualification, are adept at planning interesting activities and outings tailored to individual learning needs, such as developing conversational skills and fine motor skills through paint mixing.
The nursery actively promotes good health through regular outdoor play and encourages independence during meal times with home-cooked lunches. Management is praised for its realistic navigation of changes and effective safeguarding arrangements, ensuring stability and continuity for the children.

Children enjoy their play and learning outdoors in the fresh air. Older children develop their strength and balance as they stand or walk on the stilts. Younger children develop their physical skills as they paint or chase the bubbles.
We are incredibly grateful to the amazing team at Scarcroft Green Nursery for their care, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Every transition, whether starting nursery or moving up to a new room, has been handled so smoothly thanks to the fantastic staff, who clearly care deeply about each child’s well-being and development. It’s truly heartwarming to see how happy and confident our daughter is during drop-offs, feeling completely at ease with the team. The staff go above and beyond to create a nurturing and supportive environment, celebrating milestones and showing a genuine interest in each child’s growth. Their warmth and patience have made a profound difference, not only for our daughter but for us as parents too. Thank you for providing such a wonderful and enriching space for our daughter – we couldn’t imagine a better start to her early years.
