Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those that speak English as an additional language are thriving. Staff use simple sign language to ensure that everyone is able to communicate and can be heard. The nursery's special educational needs coordinator is a knowledgeable and passionate practitioner who works closely with professionals and parents to ensure children receive the additional support they require.
Children have frequent opportunities to engage in outdoor physical play. Older children skilfully manoeuvre wheeled toys and navigate the space available, while toddlers enjoy climbing steps to go down the slide, showing awareness of how to keep themselves safe.
I use this Tesco a couple of times a week and it’s generally decent. It’s not massive, but it’s got most of what you need. You go in for bread and somehow come out with snacks you absolutely didn’t plan on buying. Fruit and veg is usually fine, though I’ve picked up the odd pack of grapes that’s gone a bit soft by the next day. Staff are mostly sound – there’s one bloke on the tills who always seems genuinely cheerful, which is rare these days. Only real gripe is the self-checkouts. They either shout at you for “unexpected item in the bagging area” or there’s a queue because half of them are closed. Parking can be tight on a Saturday as well. Still, it’s convenient, clean, and does what it needs to. Not life-changing, but solid. Would shop there again.
