The nursery fosters a wonderful sense of community where children of all ages often play together, developing excellent social skills within a calm and relaxed atmosphere. This "home-from-home" environment, enhanced by soothing music during activities, ensures children are settled and happy.
The curriculum is designed with clear intent to create a safe and nurturing space, providing adapted activities, toys, and equipment in each room to offer a good level of challenge. Children are encouraged in their independence, with even young ones taking on roles like "helper of the day" and caring for the pet turtle.
Older children engage in outdoor learning, such as large-scale chalk drawings, developing early writing skills, and all children learn responsibility, including putting away coats after outdoor play. Staff are highly polite, modelling good manners that children learn from and adopt.
The nursery effectively manages SEND provision; staff noticeboards clearly display allergy information, and foods are served separately to protect children with additional dietary needs, promoting a collective understanding of every child's requirements.

Older children enjoy creating large-scale chalk drawings outside, mastering their early writing skills in this fun way. Children put their coats on their pegs after outdoor play.
A wonderful, peaceful, welcoming place, with synagogue members very keen to share knowledge about aspects of the truly fabulous interior and their significance to the Jewish religion. It was a pleasure and a privilege to be there. Sue Smith
