Kids planet was great for my daughter and she really enjoyed her time there. Unfortunately when my son had went we only ever received negative feedback they had failed to pick up on his speech , learning and social delay. It's only when we had moved out of the area at his new nursery they had picked up he actually had autism. I still have the feedback ringing in my ears from this nursery unfortunately. That he is 'naughty' and 'doesnt listen'. This was in 2017 so hopefully they have better training in this for future children.
Read on GoogleWe moved our 2 year old to this nursery after our nursery closed down. The initially show around was excellent, however once our daughter started we feel she received poor care. Within the month we had moved her to a new setting which was stressful and unsettling for our child. Thankfully, they are now having a fantastic experience at Hale Day nursery. There seemed to be a revolving door of staff in the toddlers room that were not welcoming, seemed uninterested in being there and gave generic handovers. We had to ask multiple times for a key worker. When they were assigned it was a staff member who did not work at times when we would be picking up/dropping off. She did not contact us to introduce herself or learn about our child. In the response to our feed back, which we eventually got after chasing, we were told it was actually a different staff member. I had to chase logon details for the ParentZone app. When we did get this it was rarely updated. There was an incident when we picked up our child and she was using another child’s dummy. No apology was given. We specified we did not want her to have a dummy at any other time than nap time and this is also concerning in the times of covid. A sensitive but important issue, our child’s clothes often came home smelling of body odour and the nursery often smelt at pick up and drop off. This did not make us confident the staff could teach our child about important life skills like that their personal care. I was disappointed that after leaving I had to chase what was done about our feedback and we were referred to the resolutions team about a bill we had not paid because it was incorrect and we had queried it but not had any response. Kids planet seems like the Amazon of nurseries and it not the home from home that you want for your child.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has improved greatly in her speech, her eating and her overall development and I have to say it's mostly thanks to the kind and sweet staff at kids planet... I have had a great experience and would recommend anyone to go here...
