About this day nursery

Happy Faces Pre School Limited, operating since 2002 in Tonbridge, provides a warm and nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 4 years. The pre-school operates term-time, from 9am to 3:30pm each weekday.

Staff create an atmosphere where children feel safe and secure, supported by a well-established key-person system that helps new children settle quickly into routines, such as washing hands before snack time. The curriculum is thoughtfully planned and meets the needs of all children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Staff are adept at identifying children who may require additional support, discussing concerns with parents, and seeking advice from external professionals when appropriate. Funding is used effectively to provide this support.

Children at Happy Faces Pre School Limited enjoy exploring a "wild area" outdoors with an adult and develop their physical skills by safely navigating steps on a pirate ship and engaging in mark-making activities with simple tools. This good-rated setting also encourages children to understand and respect diverse beliefs and cultures, enriching their learning experience.

Strong links with other settings ensure consistency in children's learning and care, and leaders are committed to continuous improvement, including enhancing the outdoor space and providing targeted staff training.
