Inclusion & environment
Leaders ensure that every child, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities reach their full potential.
In the garden, children play in the mud kitchen, excitedly deciding with their friends to make 'leaf cookies' and exploring the garden looking for 'leaves' and 'stones'. Young children use large equipment in the garden to climb, balance and jump. There are lots of opportunities during the day to explore outdoors in the fresh air.
I’m really grateful to Happy Woods nursery for taking my daughter in following the sudden closure of Cedar Park nursery in May. They made her feel welcome from the outset and treated her as if she had been going there for years. She loves the staff, who have taken a real interest in her development, and has quickly made new friends. She’s quite a confident individual anyway but it was a big change for her to deal with, so being in a positive environment like Happy Woods has really helped her. They organised a beautiful graduation ceremony which she took part in. Thank you very much Happy Woods 😊
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending Happywood’s nursery since January 2024. He confidence has grown so much and loves attending the nursery. The staff are amazing with him, very patient and caring my son always talks about his teachers :). As a first time mum I was very anxious about sending my son to nursery and I have never left him with anyone, but Happywood’s have been amazing settling him in and being very on top with communicating about my sons needs and his day to day activities! My son always comes out of nursery smiling and happy!. I would definitely recommend Happywood’s nursery.
Read on GoogleHome from home is the only way to describe how we as a family feel. Our daughter attends this nursery and I can not thank the staff and manager enough for what they do. The setting is full of all kinds of resources for both inside and outdoor play, allowing children to develop. The recently new building is amazing and helps with their development as they go from room to room. We are updated all day long regarding our daughter's progress via their online app. The activities the children do are very stimulating and teach children so much. Thank you once again Happywoods.
