Harlequin Out of School Clubs in Tunbridge Wells, established in 2015, provides childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years. The nursery operates all year round, Monday to Friday, from 07:15 to 18:30.
Children at this setting benefit from an ambitious early years foundation stage (EYFS) curriculum, thoughtfully planned by staff to support individual interests and development while fostering independence and social skills. The environment promotes strong relationships between children and friendly staff, ensuring a secure and clean space where children are happy and confident.
The nursery effectively supports children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), following a graduated approach and collaborating with parents and professionals. Though outdoor learning is supported through exploration with climbing equipment and bikes, the report indicates that support for children learning English as an additional language could be more robust, as opportunities to use home languages are fewer.
Parents consistently praise the setting for its care and for supporting their children's individual needs, contributing to an overall enriching experience for every child.

Inclusion & environment
Children make steady progress from their starting points, including those who are disadvantaged or those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The nursery follows a graduated approach to supporting and identifying children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who may face barriers to learning. The SENCo works with parents and other professionals to support children with additional needs.
Children have lots of freedom to explore the large playrooms and manage risks while using climbing equipment, large blocks, and bikes, which aids in developing physical skills and abilities.
Support for children learning English as an additional language is not implemented as effectively, as they have fewer opportunities to hear and use their home languages in their play and learning.
Absolutely fantastic club! We didn’t need the childcare this half term but all 3 of my children (preschool aged - 11 years old) begged me to go! They went and as always had an amazing time! The staff are friendly, informative and supportive. Shame we couldn’t have given it 10 stars!
Read on GoogleMy 5 year old son has attended harlequin holiday club on many occasions and he absolutely loves it! He absolutely loves the Forrest club that they do! I would highly recommend harlequin to anyone! The staff are really friendly aswell! 👍
Read on GoogleMy son loves Harlequin. The staff are amazing and patient. Always so helpful. I'm very grateful for all the support and help they have given my son. Well done guys, massive pat on the back.
Read on GooglePretty bad. The staff were nit-picky and seemed to suck the fun out of what should have been a relaxed, fun environment for kids to play in. Won't be using again, there are much better holiday clubs in Tunbridge Wells! Wouldn't recommend.
Read on GoogleUnfortunately we didn’t have a very positive experience and took our daughter out of the after school club after 6 weeks.
