The Ofsted inspector noted that children are very happy and have fun as they play and learn, becoming independent and motivated learners. They spend a lot of time outside, exploring an environment described as inviting and skilfully organised, which includes the parkland around the building. Staff use role-play and create a language-rich environment to support children's communication and a love of books. A designated member of staff coordinates support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, working with parents and other professionals.

SEND provision

One member of staff coordinates the care and learning of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. She works closely with parents and knows how to seek support from other professionals should the need arise.

Outdoor space

Children confidently explore the inviting, and skilfully organised, outdoor environment. Staff make extremely good use of the parkland around their building to encourage children to explore the natural world. Children spend a lot of time outside, developing their coordination and strength as they use ride-on toys, play with hoops and run around with their friends.
