Inclusion & environment
Managers ensure that all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), progress well. Room layouts have been adapted to ensure all children have access to the same learning opportunities. Staff liaise with both the setting and lead special educational needs coordinator (SENCo), ensuring that children are fully supported. Parents confirm that their children are making very good progress, especially those with SEND.
Children have daily opportunities to play outdoors and engage in physical activity. Staff support older children to use bigger movements to climb and jump, while younger children practise their mark-making skills and name shapes in the shaving foam.
The staff here are so kind and caring, they really know my son, because of all they do his development has accelerated, he has lovely friendships and is a much more confident child. I cannot recommend Hidden Garden enough!
Read on GoogleReally great nursery, my boy loves it here so much. Staff are so friendly and kind and have supported him so well with potty training. They also feed them so well!
Read on GoogleA fabulous Nursery in the heart of Midsomer Norton. A real emphasis is put on building relationships between families and the staff. They show a real care for the children and the up dates on the app are a great way of reassuring you of your a nervous parent
Read on GoogleHaving moved to the area I viewed several Nursery’s and Hidden Garden stood out for me because of all the work they put into building parent partnerships. The parent events, regular updates on blossom and being greeted with a smiley face that really knows your child every day makes the world of difference.
Read on GoogleI have to say the staff are absolutely fantastic with my girl, since she’s been attending hidden garden, the observation updates about every session is a very lovely touch… she has developed so much speech wise and her willingness to learn is amazing… Abigail the manager is great too! Very supportive and has given me time to listen about my hard times iv experienced recently and she’s been so supportive. There really are not enough stars to give this place…. The only issue iv encountered is the amount of illnesses my girl has had since starting in February, I understand that germs are rife in a environment with children and germs, it’s also very costly to parents when children can’t attend paid for spaces and parents have to have time of for this too, I’m not sure how this can be improved and I’m not sure what the cleaning schedule is for toys and equipment, I do feel this needs to be looked into as a preventative measure taken to reduce sickness levels? I love it here and it’s a good choice for my girl, but the amount she’s poorly is a bit concerning 🙈
