Inclusion & environment
Staff use what they know to provide learning experiences that help all children, including those who have additional needs, to make good progress. Leaders and staff also work closely with other agencies to support children who need additional support.
Children enjoy using the pleasant learning environment where they can easily access resources and move around freely. For example, they explore the outdoor water tray and discover that they can use pipettes to squirt water. They then use the water to make marks on the building.
My daughter started her nursery journey at the start of this year. What a wonderful time she has had! Her speech & social skills have come on so much. The learning tree have been very interactive, loving & kind towards her. Their communication to the parents is also great. Highly recommended if you’re reading this! So pleased we picked this nursery for her!
Read on GoogleMy son started at the nursery in September, previous to starting we viewed a few other places, we are so pleased that we chose Chilcompton. The team have been beyond amazing, as he adjusted to settling in they were incredibly warm, welcoming and understanding. They have taken time to update us on his progress, how he’s settling in during the day and providing a safe space to leave our boy. I would highly recommend this nursery.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending The Learning Tree Day Nursery since last summer - He is a very inquisitive and energetic little boy. The Learning Tree offers him space to explore and be free, but in a secure and safe environment at the same time. The location in the farm is beautiful and it’s lovely to see the children exploring the fields, animals and nature around them. the staff at The Learning Tree look after the children so beautifully and they have such special bonds with the children. The communication to parents is excellent with a system to see photos of you let child throughout the day. The Learning Tree also has an on-site chef who prepares the most beautiful home cooked meals which my son often had extra helpings of! Thank you to everyone at The Learning Tree!
Read on GoogleLovely looking nursery. Abysmal communication. I visited with my daughter and was looking forward to enrolling her here, but after sending over her birth certificate and relevant information I have been ignored. I have emailed, called, and even messaged on Facebook but have received zero response. I had been pre warned by a friend who sends her child here that the “admin side wasn’t great” but I didn’t anticipate it would be this bad! I appreciate that these settings are busy places, and I didn’t expect an immediate reply, but at this point I have given up and enrolled her somewhere else. Hopefully for the owner things improve, otherwise I don’t foresee this branch being at full capacity for much longer
