About this day nursery

Highfields Hoppers Ltd is a privately owned childcare setting situated at the back of Fairview car park in Alsager. It provides a Nursery and Pre-School programme for children aged 2 years up to school entry, offering both funded and paid placements for 2, 3, and 4-year-olds.

Additionally, the facility runs Out of School Clubs for children from Reception to the end of Year 6. The Nursery and Pre-School include morning and afternoon sessions, alongside breakfast, lunch, and tea clubs to accommodate diverse needs.

The curriculum is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), promoting learning through play to foster friendships, independence, and confidence. Highfields Hoppers is dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition for children into reception classes, regardless of their chosen school.

The centre employs an experienced and qualified team, holding qualifications such as Early Years Level 3 and BA in Early Years, to cater to children's individual requirements. The Out of School Club ensures continuous care for children throughout their primary school years, providing breakfast and tea, as well as access to outdoor spaces and well-equipped rooms.

The nursery also offers pick-up services from Alsager Highfields School clubs and after-school activities. Children aged two and above may be eligible for 15 or 30 funded hours per term-time week.

Pricing & funding

Fees are categorised by age (two-year-olds and three to four-year-olds) and operational period (term time and holiday care). Pre-school sessions are charged as hourly rates or fixed three-hour blocks, while out-of-school term clubs offer fixed rates with meals included.
