How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders make excellent use of additional funding to enhance the provision for disadvantaged children. For example, they have created a sensory room which offers children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) a safe space to settle before joining the wider room. This significantly enhances their emotional security. When children with SEND see familiar staff, they express their happiness through nonverbal cues.

Outdoor space

During a baking activity, children leave their stations to gather fresh vegetables from the outdoors, accompanied by staff. Children actively help to feed and pet the nursery goats, learning about responsibility and how to care for animals.

Both of my children have attended this nursery since they were babies, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. The nursery is amazing – the facilities are incredible (the goats and chickens are such a unique and lovely touch!) and the staff are absolutely outstanding. They are so friendly, supportive, and genuinely care for the children, making it a wonderful environment for them to learn and grow. I’m so grateful for everything the team has done for my children over the years, and I really hope they can continue to come back for holiday club in the future. Thank you for everything!

Our daughter Winnie has settled in so well at this lovely, home-from-home nursery. From day one, the staff have been amazing — so kind, caring, and always going that extra mile to make sure she’s happy. The communication is brilliant, and we always feel included in what’s going on. The nursery has such a warm, homely feel, and there are so many fun and creative activities for the children throughout the day. Their recent Halloween event was fantastic — the kids had such a great time, and it was lovely to see so many smiley faces! We honestly couldn’t be happier and would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone. The team really do go above and beyond! 💕

Feeling very emotional writing a review as it’s my little girls last day at this absolutely amazing place! From home to home the staff have been incredible with my daughter caring and understanding from day one! Nothings never too much to ask, they have treated my daughter just like there own!! Activities are amazing my daughter has come on so much outside area is her favourite with the mini farm and mud kitchen!! I’ll be forever grateful for all the help and support and the love grace and her team have given both myself and my daughter xxx

Both my children have attended the nursery since they were babies. The nursery is amazing. It has the best facilities including goats and chickens and the staff are outstanding so friendly and supportive of the kids! I hope they can continue to come back for holiday club in the years to come! Thank you for everything!

Our daughter has loved her time at Hilltop Tots. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic and always greet/wave her off with a big smile. The building and grounds are fantastic and they’ve worked so hard to modernise it and make it a wonderful environment for the kids. The garden is huge with animals for the children to look after. Our daughter has learnt so much whilst she has been here, she has left full of confidence and great social skills, fully ready for school.
