My son who is now 17 m/o attends Hungry Caterpillars in Chalfont St Peter 2 days a week. All the staff (both in the baby room and management) are incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. Even though my son only attends 2 days a week and we are new to the area, he settled very quickly and now happily walks into nursery and is all smiles at pick up. He is also sleeping and eating well, and is engaged in a wide range of educational and stimulating activities, including lots of time in the wonderful garden. What a treat! We receive informative updates about all the fun activities he has been enjoying. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hungry Caterpillars.

I have 2 children at the nursery, my nearly 4 year old boy and 11 month old baby girl. My eldest can’t wait to get into nursery, he loves playing with his friends and joining in all the activities that have been organised for the day ahead. The app keeps me updated on their daily activities and on Friday we receive a round up of the week with lots of lovely photos. Staff are friendly and amazing with the kids. The only negative is the large fee increases that have been implemented yearly since we have joined the nursery.

Amazing nursery, nothing but great things to say! My daughter settled in immediately and loves the staff and the activities. We get updates through the day and all the extra little details on collection, plus the food they're given sounds fantastic.

We had to bring our baby to nursery a bit younger than I would've preferred but since she arrived she's been so well taken care of and made such good relationships with her caretakers! She's been learning so much and is so happy when she is at nursery with you guys. Couldn't reccomend this place more, thanks again and again and again.

This is our initial review as our son has been to Chalfont branch nursery for less than a month. The nursery is good till now and our son is still getting used to the schedule. During initial visit we were told and kept under impression that any changes to the schedule was easy and doable with enough notice or even short notice when possible. To make our son used to both sessions(morning and evening) we have started with 2 morning and 2 evening sessions to check how he adapts. However due to sudden change in my wife's work requirement we wanted to change all the sessions to morning. When requested, to my surprise I was told I can change the afternoon sessions to FULL day (which means there is space in morning session) but there was not space for just morning sessions. We don't want to force our son for a full day nursery until he gets used to 1 session. When asked when can we expect space for just morning session so that we know till when we have to manage - there have been no clear answer. So anyone thinking on same lines please make a note of this issue. Make sure you know your future commitments at work and any change will be difficult/impossible.
