Creative Early Years Nursery, established in February 2009, began its journey as a training and consultancy firm specialising in early childhood education. Inspector highlights
Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
They comment on the rapid progress children make in short periods.
They feel listened to and valued as parents.
They say that settling-in sessions are adapted to meet their children's needs so that they feel safe and secure with staff.
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make rapid progress. Delays in children's development are identified at the earliest opportunity, and leaders act swiftly to ensure that external support is in place. They work closely with parents to ensure that support for children is consistent across all environments and take on board advice from professionals.
The outdoor environment further acts as a learning space for children. Children learn to assess risks and make new discoveries. The opportunities to explore the natural environment ignites curiosity in children. They confidently navigate different levels of ground and develop their core strength as they balance and jump from equipment at different heights.
We were forced to find a nursery for our youngest son very suddenly- someone recommended Imagine…Early Years to us and wow I am Sooo glad they did! As an Early Years Teacher myself I feel that this nursery provides the very best experience for the children, the staff care for the children truly as though they’re their own and I was so sad to see my little man leave when he was school age. My only regret is that we didn’t find them earlier so my older two sons could have benefitted from this absolutely fantastic start in life! The sense of curiosity and independence that Imagine fosters has stayed with my son, and he continues to excel and has a great thirst for knowledge and a beautiful understanding of the world. I truly believe Imagine… Creative Early Years played a huge part in shaping my little man into the wonderful character he is today! I can’t thank them enough! ❤️
Read on GoogleOur son attended Imagine until he went to school in 2018. We have very fond memories of the nursery - the staff were all so focussed on teaching and nurturing the children and meeting their individual needs rather than simply providing childcare. Don't be put off by the drab exterior of the building (we nearly were!) as inside you'll find a real gem. Our son loved his time at Imagine and it prepared him really well to succeed at school.
