Wyken Pre-School, part of Rosie and Jim's Childcare, is located in Coventry and provides year-round childcare from 8am to 5pm in a Scout Hall facility. The pre-school focuses on fostering development and school readiness through a spacious indoor environment featuring dedicated learning zones like a Home area, Construction area, and a Book Corner.
Additionally, it boasts a large outdoor area that encourages free-flow play, complete with both soft-surface and grassy sections. The nursery also operates a holiday club for children aged 8 months to 8 years, open throughout the school holidays, excluding one week during Christmas.
Families can explore various funding options, including government-backed schemes for 15 and 30 hours of childcare for eligible age groups, as well as the Tax-Free Childcare programme.

Inclusion & environment
The curriculum is ambitious for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). There is a strong focus on supporting children with SEND. The new special educational needs coordinator supports the manager in understanding children's additional needs.
Children are physically active throughout the day. Staff plan many outdoor opportunities to ensure children benefit from physical challenges that improve their large-muscle strength. Children climb, slide, balance, and ride bicycles with skill and enthusiasm.
