The special educational needs coordinator is knowledgeable and works well with parents, staff and other agencies, agreeing and working on specific areas of learning to ensure a consistent approach.

Outdoor space

Children explore the setting's outdoor area, where they develop their physical skills and learn. Children delight as they roll balls through tubes. Isabello's is such a happy enviroment, from the wonderful staff who always wear a smile to the really nice home-away-from-home feel. Emma is exceptional; she has so much enthusiasm for what she does, and it really shows in the care and happiness of everyone—staff and children. She knows exactly how to support every child and their parents. My daughter struggles with her speech, so the nursery is using Makaton to communicate with her. My daughter's confidence has grown so much as she's now able to communicate and feel heard. This preschool sets the high standard that all settings should look up to. My daughter is always happy to go in and is so excited to spend time there. All the staff are genuine in their happiness and care for the children. Special mention to Maria, who has supported my daughter in every way and is always a pleasure to speak to.

Before I chose a preschool for my 2 year old son, I visited many in and around Henfield. Isabello’s was by far my favourite. I love the set up indoors and outdoors, how they have so many different activities. And there’s the extra activities like yoga and Spanish lessons. The staff are also amazing - I feel comfortable they’re looking after my little boy and helping him learn new things. They were also so supportive when I struggled at the beginning leaving him when he was upset to see me go. They always keep me informed on how he’s doing and send pictures to reassure me all is well. I’d highly recommend anyone thinking of choosing Isabello’s.

I’m so grateful I saw a recommendation on Facebook for Isabello’s Preschool. Such a nurturing, dedicated and caring team who give their all each day to create a lovely welcoming and friendly environment - always smiling, always happy, always positive. I loved the Spanish sessions you offer, the yoga and forest school, as well as all the natural equipment and resources available and your great emphasis on outdoor learning. You always made it so much fun and engaging. Arielle has absolutely thrived here! I definitely chose the best place for her but you gave her the best start!❤️ “Two little words…thank you”

I looked for a nursery in Burgess Hill but none of them made me feel so positive vibe about their place and staff like Isabello's. The place is nice decorated, they do a lot of activities, they spend time outside in their garden also they go for a walk in the forest close to the preschool. The preschool has a lot of toys and the staff create nice activities to do with the children. The staff are patient, kind, supportive and professionals. The staff know children's likes and dislikes of activities, games and toys and they make the kids feel seen and listen and their needs met for a great experience at preschool. I am so greatful to Isabello's staff for their involvement and support to my son's settling to preschool and also for their care and emphaty considering that my son speaks and understands mother tongue. At his pace he started to name some words in English, already. To help my son feel better, the staff learnt some key words in romanian. My son often mentions about his key worker Kate and how they played together with other children. If I would have to make a choice again I would choose Isabello's everytime. I strongly recommend Isabello's preschool, Emma and the staff.

My Daughter has been attending Isabello's since October and I have been so impressed with how much she has developed in the short time she has been there and how they have made sure she is challenged enough every day. The activities they do both for the children and the parents are fantastic and I will be genuinely sad when she has to leave to go to school. I have already introduced friends to the Preschool and I will be sending my Son there as soon as he's old enough. Emma, Jenny & Saffron are absolutely brilliant.
