Jigsaws Childcare is a nursery dedicated to nurturing, inspiring, challenging, and enthusing children during their foundational years. The nursery believes in fostering the individual growth of each child, providing them with the opportunity to flourish in a supportive environment.
With a focus on quality teaching staff and resources, Jigsaws Childcare aims to cultivate creative and competent learners. A core aspect of their philosophy involves extensive outdoor access, allowing children to engage with nature and develop important skills in different settings.
The team is dedicated to creating a secure and caring atmosphere that values respectful relationships and promotes exploration, including regular Forest School sessions led by trained staff. Age-specific rooms cater to different developmental stages, from Crawlers (3-15 months) to Discoverers (age 3 to pre-school) and Adventurers (preschool to Year 6) who also have access to "wrap-around care" for before and after school hours.
Jigsaws Childcare also places emphasis on providing homemade meals. They are also undertaking a new project to rebuild their current site to ensure sustainable childcare for the local community.
