The curriculum is thoughtfully planned, with resources and activities tailored to support learning and development at every stage. Babies, for example, have access to low-level furniture and toys placed within easy reach to develop their physical skills.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on community engagement, with children enjoying various trips to local places like the train station, supermarket, and post office. They also visit a local elderly residents' home to bake, craft, and sing, fostering a sense of respect and contribution.

Outdoor learning is a daily feature, with children enjoying exercise in large outdoor spaces and learning about road safety during walks in the local community. Jitterbugs Day Nursery is committed to supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Staff work closely with parents and other professionals, utilising additional funding to provide resources such as sensory equipment to help children regulate their emotions. The nursery also fosters a love of reading through animated story sessions and a lending library, encouraging children to take books home to share with their families.

I couldn't speak any higher of the girls that run Jitterbugs! They excel in everything they do with the children and genuinely care for the children. I would leave 10*'s if I could!
