I cannot praise the nursery highly enough.
They do a fantastic job and I wouldn't dream of sending my child anywhere else.
Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those who speak English as an additional language, make good progress in their learning and development. Staff who undertake additional responsibilities, such as the special educational needs coordinator, have a clear understanding of their role and work closely with outside professionals and local schools to ensure children receive required support.
Outdoors is described as a stimulating learning environment; children look for minibeasts in the flower beds and engage in outdoor exploration. Children also enjoy regular use of the adjoining soft-play centre, which provides opportunities to consolidate and challenge their physical skills.
Children who speak English as an additional language make good progress in their learning and development.
My children have attended Holiday Club here twice now. They absolutely love it. There is a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, baking, games, ice skating and they are able to use the Safari soft play equipment during the sessions. The food is healthy and my children have always enjoyed it. The staff are helpful, professional and fantastic at interacting with the children. The staff encourage good habits for example creating thank you cards for people after Christmas.
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been going to the jungle tots holiday club for the past 3 years and she loves it there. My daughter has autism and she none stops talking about it wanting to go back as in her own words “I want to go animal school” meaning she wants to go jungle tots holiday club. My daughter feels comfortable, content and very welcomed by all staff which I really like about. Also the staff are fantastic very sweet, laughable and they definitely remember each child and welcome them with open arms. Me and daughter really love it here and I know that my twins are will love it here when they are older to go.
Read on GoogleJungle kids holiday club is brilliant. The staff are all engaged with the children and make the sessions fun. My twins love attending and enjoy the additional planned activities which have included bowling, ice skating, magicians and visits from emergency services so they can look around a fire engine. A great mix of crafting and indoor/outdoor play and accessing the equipment at safari play. Nikki deserves a mention for as she always makes sure my son with disabilities is included, well cared for and monitored closely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the holiday club.
Read on GoogleMy son was attending Jungle Tots Day Nursery for 18 months. The management has been very responsive, caring and supportive. My son has made lovely relationships with the staff, who are very professional, approachable and caring with both kids and parents. The nursery itself is very bright, spacious and unique compared to others. One more thing what I want to mention is, that the children are regularly taken to the soft play centre, which is at the same building. And children just love it! I was very happy with our choice of nursery and often recommend to anybody when talking about childcare locally. The best nursery in Peterborough!
Read on GoogleMy children go to the holiday Club here and have done for a few years. Both boys have very different interests and one has additional needs (autism) but they both enjoy the holiday club so much. The lady who runs it is wonderful as are all the staff, they are so caring towards the children and have so many different activities including some we wouldn’t do as a family e.g ice skating! Thank you everyone at holiday club, we can’t wait to see you soon ☺️
