Opening hours
Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 6pm
30am to 6pm, all year round, catering to children aged 0-4 years. Inspected by Ofsted on 22/08/2023, the nursery was rated as 'Good'.
Children quickly form strong bonds with the kind and caring staff, whose individual needs are met effectively, creating a safe and secure environment for play. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed and effectively communicated, with a strong focus on attachment, development, and individual needs.
Children are encouraged to be independent and approach learning with positive attitudes, persevering with new activities. The nursery promotes inclusive practices, helping children understand similarities and differences, and fostering a sense of community through events like family barbeques and stay-and-play sessions.
Staff are particularly skilled at supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, with a dedicated coordinator who works closely with families and external agencies. The effective use of additional funding, such as the early years pupil premium, has led to the creation of a calm sensory area to aid children's self-regulation and concentration.
Healthy practices are promoted through nutritious snacks and handwashing routines. Children also benefit from ample outdoor time, enjoying activities like making 'potions' with leaves and learning to maneuver ride-on toys.
Parents have expressed appreciation for the nursery's learning environments, the information shared on their children's progress, and the encouragement for at-home learning, such as developing self-care skills for school readiness. While children enjoy outdoor play, staff are continuously working to enhance their understanding of keeping themselves and others safe during this time.

Inclusion & environment
Staff value children as unique individuals and there is a commitment to supporting all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. The dedicated special educational needs coordinator works cohesively with families and external agencies to ensure that children's developmental and emotional needs are targeted successfully. Managers use additional funding, such as early years pupil premium funding, effectively. For instance, the development of a calm sensory area is helping children relax, learn to self-regulate their behaviours and improve concentration skills.
Staff ensure children spend lots of time in the fresh air. For example, children enjoy finding and cutting leaves to make 'potions', and learn to manoeuvre ride-on toys. However, sometimes, staff do not routinely further develop children's growing understanding of how they can keep themselves and others safe, in particular during their free play outdoors.
This is a lovely nursery with kind caring staff. I have never received as much support for my little one before as I do at this nursery. 100% recommend
