Kinder Place Nursery, located near Scarborough Hospital, offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 0 to 5 years. Dedicated to providing flexible and affordable childcare, the nursery works in partnership with the local NHS and community.
The facility is designed to encourage learning and development during these crucial early years, with separate rooms tailored for different age groups: "Caterpillars" for 0-2 year olds and "Butterflies" for 2-5 year olds. Both rooms offer open-plan spaces for play, exploration, and rest, with a strong emphasis on indoor and outdoor activities that promote physical, creative, and imaginative development.
The passionate and qualified staff create a safe, warm, and supportive atmosphere, fostering independence and a love for learning. Meals and snacks are prepared in collaboration with a Trust dietician, focusing on healthy and nutritious options.
Kinder Place Nursery operates 51 weeks a year, closing only for bank holidays, two staff training days, and the week between Christmas and New Year. They also offer emergency and temporary placements to accommodate various parental needs.

Children enter the nursery with excitement and confidence and are warmly welcomed by their key person. They quickly settle into routines, which helps them feel safe and secure. Children effortlessly use exceptional manners and their behaviour is excellent.
Fees are invoiced termly and spread monthly, with rates varying depending on the session length and required hours. The nursery offers nine-hour core days alongside morning and afternoon sessions, with different hourly rates applying for core and extended hours. Enhanced provision charges for meals and snacks are billed separately.

Inclusion & environment
Staff quickly identify children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and provide support to meet their needs.
Children explore the outdoor environment with enthusiasm and imagination. They are highly focused when digging and looking for worms and eagerly swap tools to extend each other's play. Children regularly play outdoors and participate in physical activities.
