Kingfisher Nursery, established in 2001, provides childcare on non-domestic premises for children aged 2 to 4 years. 30pm to 6pm, including a lunch wraparound club.

Inspected by Ofsted on 4th November 2022 and rated as 'Good', Kingfisher Nursery prides itself on its secure key-person system, which helps children develop secure attachments with staff and feel safe and secure. Children confidently follow their own interests in activities of their choosing, demonstrating good behaviour and showing care and concern for others.

The manager and staff have high expectations, prioritising children's personal, social, and emotional well-being and supporting their development of key skills for school. All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, make good progress from their starting points.

The nursery offers many child-led outdoor activities, encouraging social skills and collaboration, such as taking turns and working together in the large outdoor sandpit. Parents describe a warm and friendly atmosphere, where their children are happy, well-cared for, and make good progress.

Both kids have been here and it’s absolutely superb. Staff are so friendly and attentive to children’s needs. Would highly recommend kingfisher to anyone ☺️☺️☺️
