Highly recommended! My daughter has been attending Kip McGraph for around a year now for Maths, English and Science because she had missed a lot of school due to her ill health. She has recently returned to school and has been put in the top set for everything. Her confidence has soared and she loves to learn now and this is all down to Mark, Elaine and the team. Amazing team both professional and approachable. Cannot thank them enough for the positive change in our child.

C&P have been attending Kip McGrath every Saturday since May 2025, they both are changed girls they’re so much more confident and this is down to Elaine and the team for listening to our needs as a family. The assessment process was very straight forward and Elaine has highlighted things that school never picked up on. The girls attend Kip McGrath every week and if we can’t make a lesson due to holidays or sickness they catch up with a remote lesson. Elaine is very understanding and she works with the girls and understands them, I think the bond between tutor and pupil is very important, Elaine is so welcoming and I feel I can talk to her about the girls progress after each session. The reward system is fantastic and the continued support from Elaine is beyond incredible. So thank you Elaine for changing the girls prospective on learning and teaching my girls.

Our10 year old daughter started at Kip McGrath 8 weeks ago after she expressed feeling….her words “stupid” in school. The anxiety she had each day going to school, worrying to put her hand up in case she might get the answer wrong and feeling like she was unable to do the required work in class. As a parent I felt we needed to change her opinion on learning and break the cycle, rebuild her confidence to believe in herself. I did lots of research to find a suitable fit for our daughter’s educational needs and goals to hopefully change her experience on learning. We met with the team at Kip McGrath and they were really personable and more importantly our daughter felt at ease and open to starting her learning journey. She was assessed and as expected was academically below her expected years and we were appropriately advised on what supportive package would be suitable to get her confidence built back up and achieving age related targets. Our daughter attends every week loves the teaching style used, there is no anxiety, fear or worry like school and I’d go as far as to say she genuinely enjoys learning!! I also think the incentives are a really good motivator too as points make prizes…. I can’t thank and recommend Kip McGrath enough, after 8 short weeks her reassessment was completed that evidenced her comprehension age had increased by 3 years, not only does she have her smile back but this little piece of information has given her the confidence to believe in herself again, knowing she isn’t as she felt “stupid” bit actually just needed time and a different teaching style that sadly today’s schools can’t afford to offer, when they have 30 children to teach. I can not wait to see how much she will develop and grow with Kip McGrath thank you.

I would definitely recommend kip McGrath in Ashton. My son found the assment process easy to understand and stress free . Elaine and Mark was super helpful, kind and caring. My son also enjoyed his first lesson and cannot wait to go back, making learning fun . Thank you Elaine and Mark 😊.

My daughter wanted some extra help with her maths for her GCSE exams, she has only had a couple of lessons so far but her confidence has already improved. She struggles a little with anxiety and doing new things but everyone at Kip Ashton has been so friendly and welcoming 😊
