How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Key staff and the SENCo work closely with parents and external professionals to make relevant referrals where necessary. They promptly identify and implement effective strategies to support children on their learning journey. Transitions to new rooms and schools are carefully planned to ensure that children are emotionally ready and prepared for their next step.

Outdoor space

Outside, children approach physical play with enthusiasm. Younger children learn to navigate safe risks as they climb the steps to the slide. Older children love to climb and use their arms to balance themselves. They use the bicycles with ease, using their feet to scoot them around obstacles. Attentive staff stay close by to support children when necessary, for example, teaching them how to use pedals on bicycles.

A brilliant nursery and pre school, can’t fault them. The staff are very friendly and caring for the children, they are on the ball with the kids and are enthusiastic. They have a great balance in all respects. The place is nice, safe, clean and spacious. Kept well updated on the app. It’s always had a good reputation and it still stands.

Our daughter has been going since she turned 1 and they have been great throughout. They have transitioned her from baby room to Kindergarten room and soon onto PreSchool room, and the phased handover has been great. I love receiving updates either on the app or at the end of the day. The staff are all friendly and supportive and my daughter loves going.

I honestly can’t recommend this nursery enough! Both of my children have gone here, and we’ve had such a great experience. The staff are so warm and caring, they’ve really taken the time to get to know my kids and make them feel comfortable. The nursery is always clean and has loads of fun activities that keep the kids engaged and learning. I’ve noticed such a positive change in both my children – they’ve come out of their shells socially and learned so much. The communication is brilliant too, I always feel informed and supported. If you’re looking for a safe, loving place where your little ones can thrive, this is it!

Both our little boys attend Kloisters, one has stayed right from the beginning in baby room, and the other since kindergarten. We have been really blessed to find a nursery locally to us that have worked with us for both boys. Everyone is so friendly and happy to help. Management are very approachable and often my eldest will totter in there on the way to the door to go home! My children are super confident and grown in their personalities. The nursery often puts on family days at the weekend which is great for my husband to attend. We are well informed with the communication log which is updated daily. Can’t thank those at Kloisters enough, so thankyou! X

Kloisters is such a wonderful nursery, my son has attended there for the past 17 months and I couldn’t be happier. All of the staff are so happy and really love the children. I won’t call out specific names as all the staff in all the rooms my son has been in have been great - they really care and always seem enthusiastic and happy there. I can’t recommend this nursery enough.
