Inclusion & environment
Staff provide good support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The special educational needs coordinator works very closely with the children, the parents and other professionals to put in place personalised strategies and achievable targets for children to work towards, and makes prompt referrals to external agencies and professionals.
Children have access to a secure outdoor play area. They learn about the world around them as they hunt for snails and slugs, concentrating intently and explaining to each other where they might be hiding.
