Play Centre Nursery, located in Littlehampton, offers a nurturing and secure environment where children aged two to five can learn and develop through play. Established in 2005, the nursery consistently receives 'Good' ratings from Ofsted, with the latest inspection in November 2022.
The curriculum emphasises personal, social, emotional, physical, communication, and language development through various engaging activities such as role-play, messy play, and outdoor exploration. They are enthusiastic learners, making choices in resources and developing independence in self-care, supported by praise and encouragement from staff.
Fees are charged per morning or afternoon session, with payments due in advance each half term. A one-off registration fee applies per child. A voluntary charge is requested for lunchtime hours if they are not covered by government funding.

Children have many opportunities to be physically active and have daily access to fresh air. They play outdoors in all weathers, which supports those who prefer to learn in this environment. The manager has ambitious plans to review the outdoor provision, to provide children with new and exciting learning opportunities.
