Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The provider is ambitious for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff plan activities they know children will enjoy and make thoughtful adaptations to ensure every child can take part, such as providing additional resources like Velcro boards. Children with SEND are well supported, and staff are proactive in seeking help from external professionals such as speech and language therapists.

Outdoor space

The outdoor area is rich in opportunities for exploration and learning. Children develop their small-muscle skills when they enthusiastically use small tools as they navigate the outside area, 'fixing things' as they go. Staff challenge children to climb on climbing frames, ride bicycles and hang on swinging apparatus, encouraging them to take safe risks and persevere.
