This is an outstanding nursery. My daughter’s development has progressed tremendously since she started, and she absolutely loves attending. The outdoor learning environment and Forest School activities are fantastic, providing enriching, hands-on experiences. The building is excellent, and the extensive outdoor space gives the children plenty of room to play and explore. I also appreciate the organised trips to the park, visits to feed the ducks, and participation in memorial ceremonies, which offer meaningful learning opportunities. I am so pleased that I enrolled my daughter when it first opened—it has continued to grow and improve, and I couldn’t ask for a better nursery.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. From the moment I went to look around I was impressed by how welcoming and friendly the staff were. My son has been attending the nursery for over a year and I'm so pleased we made the choice for him to attend Carousel. The staff are always pleasant at drop off and more than happy to ensure routines at home are transferred into the setting. The environment allows the children to thrive and develop, with lots of access to the forest school and outdoors. The activities provided for the children are well planned and change regularly to help the children learn in a range of areas. Regular updates are given throughout the day which is reassuring when at work. There are times of the year when parents are given the opportunity to join the children for events (e.g.Christmas, Mother's Day) which is a great opportunity to chat to the staff and experience the setting. It has a great family feel to it!

We chose Carousel Nursery because my wife attended when she was a child. It’s a wonderful family-run setting, now led by the daughter of the lady who ran it when my wife was there, which made it feel even more special to us. Our daughter has had such a fantastic experience at Carousel. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the staff are friendly and caring, and communication through the parent portal is excellent. We’ve also really appreciated the family days and events. They create such a strong sense of community. Carousel has played a huge role in our daughter’s development, and we genuinely didn’t want her to leave to start school because she was so happy there. Thanks to the amazing experience she’s had, we’ve decided that our son will attend too. We couldn’t recommend Carousel highly enough.

Our girl had a terrible experience with another nursery setting prior to starting Carousel nursery Bridge Street but is now happier than ever and runs straight into nursery with a smile on her face and excited to start her day, I love seeing her thriving in her environment and she’s constantly learning new things. I’ve also seen her running up to the staff excited to see them and give them a cuddle which shows just how much she loves the staff there, I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone who wants a setting that genuinely cares about your little one!

Would definitely recommend this nursery. Our son has been going here from 9 months and he loves it, plenty of updates and photos provided. Handover from staff members on what they've been doing that day, and they've massively encouraged him with crawling, walking, talking and other milestones. Children are also taken outside regularly which was something we were looking for when choosing a nursery.
