Pricing & funding

Charges are structured around a standard day rate (8:00am to 5:30pm) with an optional extension to 5:45pm, or an hourly rate. Package fees are also provided for two to five days per week, both with and without government funding applied. Specific rates are detailed for September 2025 and April 2026.

Good to know

  • A refundable deposit of two weeks' equivalent fees is required to hold a place.
  • Full fees are due for absence days.
  • A late payment fee of £15 per day is charged for fees not paid by the 3rd of the month.
  • A late collection fee of £20 is charged for every 10 minutes past the arranged finish time.
  • Further settling sessions will be invoiced separately.

Staff build highly effective partnership working with other professionals, take account of advice, and follow shared strategies to support children. Additional funding is used to support one-to-one care where needed, helping children with SEND progress well from their starting points.

Outdoor space

All children have plentiful opportunities for active play outdoors. For instance, toddlers practise walking along different surfaces on low-level beams. Older children navigate around their peers on ride-on bicycles and scooters. Children develop their core muscles as they climb, balance, run and jump confidently, furthering their understanding of healthy lifestyles.

contacted this nursery to enquire about a place for my one-year-old and to ask a few questions, particularly around sleep arrangements and availability. While I appreciate the response, the tone of communication was disappointing. When I asked whether a specific day might become available in the future (for example due to children moving rooms), I was told, “I don’t have a crystal ball.” This came across as dismissive and unnecessarily abrupt for a simple question. This has come from the owner of the nursery, if she behaves like that I wonder how the staff does it. A good example of “lead by example”. I fully understand that availability cannot be guaranteed, but as a parent making an important decision, I expected a more professional and empathetic response. Based on this interaction, I decided not to pursue a place here.
