What it's like
Given children's starting points and the impact that lockdowns have had on their development, children are making good progress. Children are happy, settled and arrive eager to start their learning. Babies are highly confident and respond well to carrying out tasks at mealtimes, such as handing out water to their less- mobile friends.
Fees are structured by age bands for children aged under two-and-a-half, and two-and-a-half to five years, offering weekly, daily, and part-time session rates. Additional fees apply for early morning and evening sessions, late collections, funded top-ups, as well as holiday and after-school clubs.

Parents say they are very happy with the care their children are getting.
Parents also comment that staff are highly diligent with regards to safeguarding and keeping children safe.
Inclusion & environment
The care and support of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is a key strength. Staff work closely with parents and other agencies to set targets for children to work towards. Staff are fully aware of the positive impact the sensory room has on the children's development, effectively using these resources to support language and personal/social development.
Children thoroughly enjoy exploring and experimenting with the mud kitchen, skilfully using a range of utensils. Leaders have recently used community funding to make improvements to the outside play spaces, acknowledging how children learn in different ways and how some children may not have direct access to outside learning at home.
My daughter attended Little Acorns from 11 months to 3.5 years, only leaving because we moved out of the area. I cannot recommend this nursery enough - the staff are amazing in every room, Jacky is a fantastic manager and our daughter was so, so happy here. Throughout the pandemic they provided continuous support, in particular when the nursery was closed they hosted Zoom calls and sent videos of the teachers singing nursery rhymes or reading books to keep the little ones entertained. The whole nursery feels like a family, you get to know all the staff and we were always very happy with how our daughter was cared for. We miss all the staff, in particular Jessica and Yasmin in the pre-school room who really brought out the best in our little girl!!
Read on GoogleI am truly grateful for all Little Acorns has done for my child. He attended the nursery from 17 months to 4 years old, and they truly have helped shape him into the confident, friendly, and communicative little boy he is now. All the staff were always so helpful and keen on supporting him throughout his journey in the nursery. Their dedication was evident as I would always hear from the child how much he liked everyone there. We truly miss and appreciate all your care.
Read on GoogleLittle Acorns - you guys are AMAZING! From Day #1 my daughter (who is sometimes a bit shy) has loved her days at Little Acorns and always so happy when I come to collect her. The team really genuinely care about the children and parents, they have good facilities and lots of toys, the space is very clean and the food is really varied and my daughter loves eating it. They were also super flexible when owing to family health issues we needed a bit of extra support with booking some extra days quite last minute. REALLY LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Read on GoogleWe have been using little acorns for 4 and a half years now and I could not recommend them enough. The staff and manager are so friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond for the needs of the children. They also provide an excellent afterschool club which our 6 year old and 4 year old now attend. Our kids are always so excited to attend nursery and we occasionally have tears when I pick them up as they are having so much fun. I was genuinely gutted when my girls both graduated nursery. If I could keep them there for their schooling too I would :) Best nursery about!!
Read on GoogleI couldn't have asked for more; I'm so happy with this nursery. I'm especially grateful to Sadia, Emily, and Jacky for their professionalism, love, and support I've received over the years. Thank you so much for making my life better.
