My daughter has been going to Little Birches in Brenchley for three years now, moving up from the Rabbits room to the Hedgehogs room for preschoolers. It’s such a warm and welcoming environment. Every week there have been brilliant extra-curricular activities — including dancing, music, yoga, and sport — all of which she loves. Meals are freshly cooked on site, which is a real bonus! They have a fantastic ethos around being outdoors and connecting with nature, whatever the weather. The team are amazing — so kind, caring, and dedicated. A special shout-out to Ali, who’s been especially wonderful! Highly recommend Little Birches to anyone looking for a nurturing, nature-focused nursery.

We would highly recommend Little Birches Brenchley, as a fantastic, warm and caring nursery in a beautiful countryside setting. Our little one has thoroughly enjoyed attending, participating in music, dancing, sports, water play, yoga, nature walks and more. She has learned so much (and loves to tell us about it), and forged some lovely friendships. The environment is very nurturing, encouraging confidence and helping to develop practical and social skills. Lovely children and lovely, caring, professional and accommodating staff, special mention to Maxine.

I was anxious about my little baby girl starting nursery at 11 months old, but she settled into Little Birches Nursery in Brenchley very quickly. I was soon, after a few weeks of tears, collecting a very calm and contented baby to take home. Thank you to a team that makes the dream work!

We couldn’t ask for a better nursery than Little Birches. Our youngest started at just 9 months old in the Squirrels room, and we were immediately struck by how nurturing and caring the staff were. As they moved up to the Rabbits room, that same warmth and support continued—and it’s been incredible to watch them grow and thrive in such a loving environment. Our eldest is in the Hedgehogs room, and the team have been exceptional in helping him understand and talk about his feelings—something that’s meant so much, especially as he’s the youngest in his age group. Their thoughtful and gentle approach to emotional development has really stood out. The setting is perfect—calm, engaging, and full of creative learning opportunities. The food is brilliant too, and they’ve helped our once-fussy eater become more adventurous and confident at mealtimes. Little Birches has given both our children the best possible start—we’re so grateful for everything they do!
